Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10.0 Performing Well, Achieving Faster Results On AMD EPYC 9005 Series

From code compilation to database workloads and more, the AMD EPYC performance was moving in the right direction with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10.0.

These benchmark results shouldn't be too surprising considering the length of the time between major Red Hat Enterprise Linux releases and what we've seen similarly when comparing major RHEL releases in the past on different servers.

For those that stick to the default Python version on RHEL releases, RHEL 10.0 especially delivers soem really nice gains with Python 3.12 compared to Python 3.9 with RHEL 9.6.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10.0 has been running well and performing great on the testing of RHEL 10 that I have been carrying out over the past month since its GA release. It's in good shape as are the likes of AlmaLinux 10.0 and Rocky Linux 10.0 with some comparative numbers there shortly. For those that stick to the defaults when running Red Hat Enterprise Linux on servers or workstations, the upgrades with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10.0 allow tapping greater performance especially for those on modern/recent server platforms. All in I have been very happy with the performance out-of-the-box on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 and similarly that out of derivatives based on RHEL 10.
