The Core i7 8700K continued leading over the Ryzen 7 2700X, this time with the Dawn of War III Vulkan Linux port. While the Ryzen 7 2700X has more cores/threads than the i7-8700K, the Intel CPU has a higher boost clock frequency that plays a bigger role here due to not many Linux games being well multi-threaded past a few cores.
F1 2017 that exclusively relies upon Vulkan under Linux remained a fair amount faster with the Intel Coffeelake CPU.
Mad Max on Vulkan for the most part was seeing similar performance between the tested desktop processors.
