Xonotic is one of the most popular open-source games and this Sapphire Nitro+ RX 470 4GB graphics card was running right behind the reference Radeon RX 480 graphics card when benchmarking at 4K.

The RX 480 led slightly on performance-per-Watt compared to this factory-overclocked RX 470.

The Sapphire Nitro+ RX 470 was running neck-and-neck with the GeForce GTX 960 when using the Mesa 12.1-dev + Linux 4.8-rc1 driver stack for the AMD hardware. The RX 480 was a few frames faster.

While the RX 470 OC card could compete with the GTX 960 in raw performance for Unigine Valley, the performance-per-Watt was behind all of the GeForce GTX 900 Maxwell series cards tested, not to mention Pascal.
