First up are some disk / I/O tests.
SQLite was the fastest on Clear Linux followed by Antergos and then both tested Ubuntu releases. For those new to reading our cross-distribution out-of-the-box benchmarks, Clear Linux is very performance-oriented and ships with various out-of-the-box optimizations including aggressive compiler defaults, which explain in a number of the tests how it can run much faster than more conservative Linux platforms.
Clear Linux was the fastest with FS-Mark while Ubuntu 17.04 was actually the slowest.
