In some of the OpenJDK Java workloads there were small performance advantages on the current Ubuntu 26.04 development snapshot.
The Ubuntu 26.04 supplied Zstd binary was edging ever so slightly higher over the prior Ubuntu releases but still behind Arch Linux and CachyOS.
