There wasn't much of a performance difference going from Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS to Ubuntu 25.10 when it came to the AMD Zen 5 desktop raw performance.
Only in some select workloads was Ubuntu 25.10 delivering slightly better performance than the current Ubuntu LTS release with its HWE back-port stack.
