Again, for these reference figures the Windows 11 tests were done with the Lenovo preload of Windows 11 Pro and all updates as of early November. The Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS was with the Linux 6.14 OEM kernel and then a Linux 6.18 Git mainline kernel build in trying to rule out kernel bugs. The same Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen 8 laptop with the Intel Core Ultra 7 255H was used for all the testing.
When going through the results my curiosity started to rise when seeing the OpenJDK Java performance on Windows doing better on Linux in more benchmarks than typically observed...

And then in some of the multi-threaded workloads finding Windows 11 also coming out a lot faster than Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS.
