I became increasingly concerned when seeing Windows wiping the floor in the Embree ray-tracing kernel benchmarks and other Intel oneAPI Rendering Toolkit tests where Linux has long dominated. And with relying on the Intel binaries for both Windows and Linux with this benchmark, ruling out any toolchain or library issues popping up on this laptop.

Windows is shockingly better than Linux in many of the heavy benchmarks where the open-source platform is typically superior.
