👁 Chaos Group V-RAY benchmark with settings of Mode: CPU. Ubuntu 24.04 + Linux 6.10 was the fastest.
The proprietary V-RAY renderer was 15% faster on Linux than Windows.
With the proprietary IndigoBench Indigo renderer was another upset with Windows 11 outperforming Linux.
Windows 11 was also faster than Ubuntu Linux on this AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 laptop with the Appleseed renderer, again not something we typically see happen.
