For H.265 video encoding with Kvazaar, the results basically amounted to level performance between Windows and Linux while with some encode settings the advantage was with Microsoft Windows. Typically in the video encode benchmarks Linux comes out with a pronounced lead.
With the SVT-AV1 AV1 video encoder, Ubuntu Linux was performing better than Microsoft Windows on this ASUS Zenbook S 16 laptop. This is something that typically aligns with expectations.
