Under the Crafty chess engine benchmark, Windows Server 2019 was coming in a little bit slower than the five Linux distributions benchmarked.
The GraphicsMagick performance across the operating systems tested were fairly mixed but with Windows Server 2019 usually being the slowest except for the image resizing test case.
7-Zip is one of the workloads where the Linux distributions particularly on AMD Zen hardware performs much faster than Windows, including the new Windows Server 2019.
