In the case of FLAC audio encoding, FreeBSD 12.0 and Windows Server 2019 had slight performance advantages over the other operating systems tested on this Dell PowerEdge R7425 server.

Windows Server fell to the back of the bunch when it came to the M-Queens solver for N-Queens running much slower than the Linux distributions while FreeBSD 12.0 had a small performance disadvantage as well.

The Minion performance on Windows Server remains mixed but largely on-par with Linux and in fact winning in the "Solitaire" benchmark.

The Perl performance on Windows Server 2019 using Strawberry Perl remains much slower than on Linux or FreeBSD.
