Intel Lunar Lake Showing Some Performance Improvements With Linux 6.16
The biggest performance gains were found in I/O benchmarks like LevelDB exhibiting much better performance over Linux 6.15. Ubuntu 25.04 shipped with Linux 6.14 and its performance was similar to Linux 6.15 while now for the upcoming Linux 6.16 the performance is moving more into the right direction.
Some really solid I/O gains at least from this Intel Lunar Lake laptop
In some of the low-level synthetic/primitive performance benchmarks there were also gains to find with Linux 6.16 over Linux 6.15.
