AVIF image encoding and ASTC texture compression were enjoying some nice advantages with Clear Linux on the AMD Zen 4 desktop.
Blender 3.3 heavily favors Linux over Windows but between Clear Linux and Ubuntu when both using the official Blender binaries, there was no major performance difference.
Meanwhile with the proprietary IndigoBench renderer, it did see some uplift out of running on Clear Linux.
