Textmagic does not charge additional fees for sending or receiving messages via WhatsAppFacebook, or Instagram. Meta fees may apply.

Is my payment information secure with Textmagic?

Yes, your payment information is fully secure. Textmagic does not store any credit or debit card details on its servers. All payment data is handled and securely stored by Stripe, a leading PCI-compliant payment gateway that meets the highest security standards in the industry.

Do I have to pay VAT or additional taxes?

UK customers

All customers from the UK will be charged VAT 20%.

EU customers

To ensure VAT is not applied to your payments, add your company’s registered VAT number to your billing information in Stripe. Once validated, VAT will no longer be applied to your payments.

US customers

Textmagic applies sales tax to purchases in accordance with state-specific nexus laws. The applicable tax rate depends on your location and is automatically added to the total purchase amount at checkout.

All customers from Australia are not charged GST (Goods and Services Tax) on their Textmagic purchases.

Am I billed for failed SMS or email messages?

You are charged for every SMS or email sent, regardless of whether it is delivered. This is because each message incurs a fixed cost on our end. To avoid unnecessary charges, it is important to verify and clean your contact lists regularly.

Messages rejected before sending, due to unsubscribed contacts, invalid details, or supplier rejection, are free.

Does my prepaid credit expire? How long is it valid?

Prepaid credit does not have an expiration date and remains valid indefinitely.

Textmagic may close accounts that have been inactive for 24 months (no logins or SMS activity), which can result in lost credit. For more details, please refer to the Terms of Service.

Can I request a refund for unused prepaid credit?

Yes, you can request a refund for any unused credit. To do so, please contact us and include the following details: your name, company name, email address, and the reason for the refund request.

Can I start sending texts immediately after signing up?

It depends on your location and setup. Here’s what you need to know:

North America (USA & Canada)

United Kingdom

Australia

Bring Your Own Carrier (BYOC)

Can I use my existing CPaaS provider with Textmagic?

Yes.

With our BYOC (Bring Your Own CPaaS) integration, you can connect your existing CPaaS provider and virtual numbers directly to Textmagic.

We support providers such as Twilio, Vonage, Sinch, and Bandwidth, and you can connect multiple providers if needed. You keep your current rates and routing while managing everything through the Textmagic interface and features.

Billing is handled separately – you’ll receive one invoice from Textmagic for the BYOC service and another from your CPaaS provider. Message delivery and routing remain the responsibility of your CPaaS provider.

How do I receive replies to the text messages I send?

You’ll receive replies in Textmagic Messenger, by email (if enabled), and via push notifications in the mobile app.

What Sender ID options are available? Can I use my business name or number?

SMS sender options depend on your location. Personal mobile numbers aren’t supported.
