Issuance/Updates: Drought Information Statements (DGT) are issued and updated on an event-driven basis when our local drought intensity reaches D2 (Severe) at 10% coverage or higher anywhere within NWS Mobile's County Warning Area (CWA), which spans southeast Mississippi, southwest and south-central Alabama, and northwest Florida.
