CCNY mourns the passing of distinguished alumnus Gen. Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret.). Gen. Powell, '58, found his calling in ROTC here and gave of himself to CCNY with immense generosity. The @cpowellschool is named in his honor. We extend deepest condolences to the Powell family.

#OnThisDay in 1921, Albert Einstein made his first visit to #CCNY. He returned the following week to give four lectures on his work. It was Einstein's first visit to the United States and his first talks in this country on the theory of general relativity.
