#News Today FBI and ATF announced Operation Ballistic Backlog
#FBIMinneapolis SAC Christopher Dotson joined @ATFStPaul ASAC Spence Burnett, US Attorney for South Dakota Ron Parsons, Oglala Sioux Tribe (OST) Department of Public Safety Chief Jason Lone Hill, and OST Attorney ar in announcing Operation Ballistic Backlog under Operation Steadfast Promise.
The joint effort is processing a back log of evidentiary firearms from crimes on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation into the National Integrated Ballistics Information Network (NIBIN). ATF dispatched its NIBIN mobile unit to Rapid City, South Dakota, to support the initiative.
