Text on the poster says Since Arirang’s release, BTS have been telling us that Swim about how to "keep swimming". In order to keep swimming, one must already know how to! That may seem like a universal activity, but the truth is that it is yet another social marker of inequalities. Not only does learning how to swim allow people to enjoy the water but it also saves lives!
SWIMTAYKA is a charity whose mission is to provide free swimming lessons and drowning prevention education to underprivileged children, since most deaths by drowning are among those younger than 25 years old. Their aim is for all children be able to grow up showing a sense of responsibility around water but also to understand how their rivers, lakes and oceans are sources of life!
