We’ll be doing what we can to get under the figures and we’ll have our initial analysis up on our website later this afternoon.
- 10 things to know about our Budget Report: 1/ Scotland’s economy recovered more quickly than anticipated from the pandemic, and is now 0.9% larger than Q4 2019; but has had virtually no growth over past 24 months. @scotfisccomm is unlikely to be very optimistic going forward
- DFM said she was increasing the Starter and Basic rate bands by inflation. You might have thought that this would mean the threshold increasing by inflation. But no, they've increased the size of the band by inflation not the threshold. Feels a little opaque. #scottishbudget
