completely disagree with this. they feel vastly more capable. much more accurate in analysis and capable of problem solving, providing first draft analysis and beyond. run a gpt4 class model locally and compare it to 3.7T or 2.5P. worlds apart.
the besssembinder paper is great. even more so when you see which companies made money. heavily all clustered around the GPT of the time eg electricity or Internal combustion engine. Or breakthrough IP. Will share my analysis with you.
