The annual Beirut Memorial Observance Ceremony will take place today at 10:30 a.m. at the Lejeune Memorial Gardens. There ceremony can also been seen live on @COJacksonville G10TV and will be streamed live to the #CampLejeune Facebook page at facebook.com/camp.lejeune/
On June 22, 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower signed an executive order, which approved the design of an official seal for the United States Marine Corps. The new seal was designed at the request of the Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. Lemuel C. Shepard, Jr.
