The Final Battle of Tololing remains one of the defining moments of the Kargil War. Displaying extraordinary mination, the soldiers of 2 RAJPUTANA RIFLES fought against formidable odds to recapture the strategically vital Tololing feature, paving the way for subsequent victories during Operation Vijay.
On this day, we remember the supreme sacrifice of Major Vivek Gupta, MVC(P), Subedar Bhanwar Lal, VrC(P), Company Havildar Major Yashvir Singh, VrC(P) and Havildar Sultan Singh Narwaria, VrC(P), whose valour, leadership and devotion to duty continue to inspire generations.
