- It's coming up in my feed again, so I'll remind you that "ship something even if it sucks!" is not "agile" or "lean". Do this instead:
- Very excited and honored to share that today was my first day on the Developer Experience team at @OpenAI! It's an incredible privilege to help developers build the future of how we all live and work using this technology <3
- The 2014 MacBook Pro is the new 1996 Toyota Camry - everyone is hanging on to theirs because they run forever and they don't make 'em like that anymore.
- One of the things I think is cool about @deno_land π¦ is that many of the tools youβd need to configure yourself normally in a web project are baked into the runtime. This is a single file application that just works in Deno without a build step.
- Hey team! After nine incredible years @twilio, I am excited to announce that another one started today.
- Hey folks - as I said last week, I have a new adventure lined up. I have the privilege of heading up DevRel for @deno_land! If you haven't heard of Deno, it's a new JavaScript/TypeScript runtime from the creator of Node.js, and I'm excited to share what it can do with you all :)
- Here's a simple link shortener service, implemented in about 20 lines of code in Deno. Will be rounding this out soon to create my own, as I have been wanting to do for some time!
- One more time for the people in the back. Most of our problems in tech stem from our desire to be clever as opposed to simply being clear. Cleverness over clarity is our Achilles heel.
- Today is my first day at @retool! I'm leading a new Developer Experience team (advocacy, community, docs, .* - all of which we are hiring forπ). I also wanted to share why I came to work at Retool specifically, which like most things can be explained with a Firefly referenceπ§΅
- Hey folks! If you know anyone looking for job opportunities in developer tools, I'm hiring for two roles on the Developer Experience team at @retool to kick off the year! π₯ Developer Advocate, Technical Content π©βπ» Developer Experience Engineer Details and post links in the π§΅
- After 4 other startups, I've never felt this busy, but I do legitimately feel like it's a privilege to be able to help introduce developers to @OpenAIDevs APIs. When I write down what this stuff does, I frequently think "holy shit, I can't believe this works".
