🟢 Cheaper: Glucometers, test strips, spectacles & lenses, thermometers, combs, hairpins (12–18% ➡ 5%)
🟢 Zero GST: Pencils & crayons (12% ➡ 0%)
🔴 Costlier: Yachts, revolvers, pistols & smoking pipes (28% ➡ 40%)
The shift focuseealth, education & daily-use goods, while taxing luxury and non-essential items higher.
