Faridabad Police has threatened me and my colleague when we went to cover Khori village demotion. They were trying to snatch my colleague’s cameras to delete the footage while one officer threatened to beat me up. Absolutely lawlessness.

We had booked an Uber for Kamakhya in #Guwahati. The online was payment but he wanted cash. He then got aggressive and beat @MohdAbuzarCh with a rod. When we said we will file a complaint he tried to run over my colleague with his car. He also called us Bangladeshi @assampolice

He is one of the most disrespectful person to exist. I have been unfortunate to see him speak in newsrooms, I feel like education is not enough for people to learn some manners. Some of the things he said were so problematic, it shook me as a young Journo that time.

I feel, trains have become an unsafe mode of traveling for minorities. In the recent travels I have done, the level of hate majority spew in random conversations against Muslims is dreadful. A close friend faced a similar situation and had to hide his Muslim identity in a train.
