No one who has been in the biotech space for a while thinks ML solves drug discovery… Rather it’s a useful tool (as are databases and workflow orchestrators). So, critique the hype of “AI” companies all you want, but those tools are here to stay

Most interesting takeaway by far from this interview is that they're interested in small molecules (maybe better docking/MD?). Other experts in the AI/bio space seem to think proteins + phenotypic discovery are much more tractable problems
