This card can be Tribute Summoned with one Tribute using "Double Coston" and "The First Monarch".
Using the "Fiendsmith" engine or "Buio the Dawn's Light" (and "Mutiny in the Sky" which it searches), one can Fusion Summon "Aerial Eater" which can send this card from the Deck to the GY to be revived later by "Muckraker From the Underworld".
This card can shut down Quick-Play Spell-oriented decks such as "Radiant Typhoon" and "Runick".
This card is also potent against to have against blowout staples such as "Forbidden Droplet", "Super Polymerization", and "The Fallen & The Virtuous".
