Elf

"Elf" (エルフ Erufu) is an archetype used by Gekko Tenma in Yu-Gi-Oh! R, with a few members also used by Yugi Muto and Yuma Tsukumo. They are mostly LIGHT/EARTH Fairy/Spellcaster monsters. This archetype has support in both the anime and manga.

In Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters II: Dark Duel Stories, Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories, Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards, Yu-Gi-Oh! Reshef of Destruction, Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories, and Yu-Gi-Oh! The Duelists of the Roses, "Elf's Light" powers up "Elf" and some other monsters: by one level in the Game Boy games, and ATK by 700 points in The Duelists of the Roses. In The Duelists of the Roses, "Wing Egg Elf" can transform into a monster with "Elf" in its name when strengthened with "Insect Imitation". In Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories, "Celtic Guardian" can be Fusion Summoned using an "Elf" and most of the Warrior monsters with less than 1400 ATK.
