Tags actionAction anime usually involve a fairly straightforward story of good guys versus bad guys, where most disputes are resolved by using physical force. It often contains a lot of shooting, explosions and fighting., conspiracyThe conspiracy thriller (or paranoid thriller) is a sub-genre of the thriller which flourished in the 1970s in the US (and was echoed in other parts of the world) in the wake of a number of high-profile scandals and controversies (most notably Vietnam, the assassination of President Kennedy, Chappaquiddick and Watergate), and which exposed what many people regarded as the clandestine machinations and conspiracies beneath the orderly fabric of political life. The protagonists of conspiracy thrillers are often journalists or amateur investigators who find themselves (often inadvertently) pulling on a small thread which unravels a vast conspiracy that ultimately goes "all the way to the top"., ecchiEcchi, or etchi (エッチ), is a common Japanese word meaning "indecent", "lewd", "frisky" or "sexy"; its usage can be compared to the English word "naughty". Among western anime fans, the term is used when vague sexual content, such as skimpy clothing or nudity, is prominent. In Japanese, however, it is a catch-all term for all things anyhow sexual in nature, mild or otherwise., haremThree or more characters, generally female, are under the influence of one character, normally male. Their interactions are romantically or sexually loaded. The female characters often draw heavily from stock archetypes. Sexual tones are applied to the lead`s behavior and to the members` depiction. Although a love triangle is not limited to just heterosexual relationships, in anime, it usually deals with two females liking one male and vice versa., newNot based on anything, the story is a new work, usually made up by the people involved in creating the anime. Generally if an original work (原作) credit is given, it will be to the studio, or director, or other members of the production team., nurseFor hentai shows, it`s enough if a nurse costume is worn without the female character actually working as a nurse. For ecchi shows, the nurse profession must play a big enough part in the overall setting. Almost completely exclusive to hentai animations., science fictionScience fiction stories usually focus on how situations could be different in the future when we are more technologically advanced; due to either our own achievements or having met with other civilizations whom we have learned from., thrillerThe thriller is a genre of fiction in which tough, resourceful, but essentially ordinary heroes are pitted against villains determined to destroy them, their country, or the stability of the free world. The hero of a typical thriller faces danger alone or in the company of a small band of companions. The protagonist may be a law enforcement agent, a journalist, or a soldier, but typically he or she is cut off from the resources of "their" organization. - [similar]

When i first watched it, it seemed pretty interesting. There were girls everywhere, badass missiles and machine guns. Yeah sounds great but i had to admin i don't quite understand the story while i was watching until i seen the ending.

The animation and the sound was good but not great. I used Youtube.com to watch this series and everytime i wanted to skip the opening.

I did not quite really understand the storyline but it wasn't the reason why i kept watching the series.

Okay on for the characters, the crew of the Pasci Magi(sorry i don't know the correct spelling) is a all female crew. The girls were kawaii. The warships were pretty kool. Those were its pro for character now where i think it was really disapointting for me is the piss poor romance. The guy who is a little brother to the Captain of the ship is well IN LOVE with his sister although they aren't blood related. He did spent some time with Tsubasa but that wasn't much. Im a guy so when i see a male character who is in a love triangle, i give him respect but oh my god why didn't this guy have much more roles. I have lost all respect for him when he confess to his sister thats hes in love with her. Sorry just not my thing. I don't like that kind of romance. He was the most useless character in this anime. He was never part of the fight against the pirates. There were many villans in this series but the anime never actually explain their life.

Value and Enjoyment
I don't actually recommend unless you love the Naval battles, the girls/ecchines, and probably the litte romance. I would not watch this again. I did quite enjoyed a few episodes but many episodes were boring to me. So to concluded i say watch the first episode via Youtube.com, Not WORTH bitorrenting the whole series. after the first episode decide if its interesting enough if not drop this and don't watch it.

The start was pretty flimsy - kinda generic feeling, nothing special. After a few eps though, things start to pick up. For me, the naval stuff was just a backdrop, and what really caught me was the romance story. Granted it's a pretty standard love triangle, but it's still interesting and enjoyable. I've been watching anime for almost a decade now, and I'll admit, it's nothing particularly original or surprising, but the execution makes it worthwhile.

The main characters are pretty well developed. There's a pretty decent sized cast for a 13 ep series, so some of the side characters can get a little glossed over, but none of them are totally abandoned. The main characters are all pretty likeable, which is always a key for me. If I don't like the main characters, the story doesn't really matter (e.g. kgne, where I ended up hating everyone).

Animation is decent. CG use isn't great, but is tolerable. Character and background animation generally look pretty good.

Sound is nothing special. Not bad, but nothing that really stands out. OP and ED are good, but pretty standard jpop-style tracks.

All in all, I'd say it's worth the watch. I'm at episode 9 right now, and the last few eps have left me eagerly awaiting more. If you're looking for sci-fi action and futuristic naval combat, you're in the wrong place. But if you want a fairly well-executed romance story (something recent seasons have been lacking), this might be for you.

I'm only at episode 3 and I'm liking the show quite abit so far. Good animation and plenty of action in it so far!I am unsure what to think about the all-girl on the ship thing and ecchi-ness feeling of the show but the characters introduced so far are fun :P...(and there's alot of them introduced in just only 2 episodes.. so its kinda overwhelming not knowing who is who.).

Overall, judging form 2 episodes, I'm going to give it a 8.5/10. If you into the military/ship theme then I think you enjoy this show somewhat. It's like Zipang -the seriousness +kawaii girls/ecchiness +alot more action.

Recommended.
