Tags bishounenA bishounen is a Japanese term literally meaning "beautiful youth (boy)" and describes an aesthetic that can be found in disparate areas in East Asia: a young man of effeminate beauty. While the beauty transcends gender, the character clearly has a male body; their gender is not ambiguous and there the character is not androgynous., comedyAnime whose central struggle causes hilarious results. These stories are built upon funny characters, situations and events. A comedy anime is laced with humour and sets out to provoke laughter from the audience. Japanese humour can be a bit strange to westerners, so if you`re new to this type of humour, just bear with it; it`ll most likely grow on you if you`re a fan of other kinds of comedy., ecchiEcchi, or etchi (エッチ), is a common Japanese word meaning "indecent", "lewd", "frisky" or "sexy"; its usage can be compared to the English word "naughty". Among western anime fans, the term is used when vague sexual content, such as skimpy clothing or nudity, is prominent. In Japanese, however, it is a catch-all term for all things anyhow sexual in nature, mild or otherwise., juujinKemono is a Japanese art and character design genre prominently featuring anthropomorphic characters, referred to as juujin. Kemono employs animal traits considered cute and endearing; most kemono characters retain a fundamentally human personality, seldom behaving as the actual animals from which they have been anthropomorphized, instead depicted living as humans. Juujin leans more on the human-looking side when compared to anthropomorphism, which leans more on the animal-looking side., novelA novel is a relatively long work of narrative fiction, normally written in prose form, and which is typically published as a book. Manga, comics, or visual novels do not fit this description and are not considered novels; including a small number of illustrations, however, is still permissible, which means that light novels are considered novels., nudityNudity is the state of wearing no clothing and exposing the bare skin or intimate parts. NO FRONTAL NUDITY (visible genitals) = 1.5 STARS OR LESS. Especially gratuitous fanservice shows tend to show their characters frequently without any clothes, though often hiding genitals through the means of additions like steam., seinenSeinen, literally "young man", is one of the main demographic classifications applied to manga, and, by extension, to anime, especially manga-based ones. As the name implies, seinen works are marketed primarily to an audience of young men; the age range commonly understood to be the target of such works goes roughly from 17 to somewhere in the 40s., short movieTypically used when an OVA only has one part and is less than the usual 20 to 25 minutes in length. So instead of calling it a `short episode`, the `short movie` tag is more appropriate. - [similar]

Only if you really liked the TV and you seriously need a meaningless extra episode with male ecchi. Otherwise don't bother: no additional plot, drawing is worse than TV. Some references to other works is all that's in there.

Well still funny, still wacky , still your favorite cute characters and a interesting-ish plot that doesn't add anything to the series but does keep ur interest till the end. What's more there is not much romance to be had so...Watch this if you liked the main anime. All in all a decent watch.

Inukami was a fair series overall so I thought I'd give the "movie" a try. As the others have noted, this is essentially just an extra OVA episode with a fancier title.

The title is quite misleading as is there is no difference in animation quality, sound quality, or what not from the TV show. If anything, I'd say the animation/sound is worse than average due to the over-perversive nature of the actual movie.

Do yourself a favor and skip this unless you are a die-hard fan of Keita going naked, repeatedly.

Animation:
Same as the original series, but as an "OVA", they have more freedom with fanservice (good or bad depending on viewer). Having a blue elephant on the screen for half the OVA was very annoying for me.

Sound:
Same as the original, nothing special here other than a lack of OP and a fairly poor ED.

Story:
The premise behind the story is pretty much the same as any other episode with some wild device that causes a lot of havoc. This time, it ends up with all the perverts in town being attacked. For some reason, Keita decides that he is actually a part of the "group" and is seen pretty much butt-naked for a majority of the episode, not really what I wanted to see.

Character:
As an extra episode there isn't really any development whatsoever. Many characters just make a cameo appearance that has no significance to the story whatsoever. The only thing I found out was that the other inukami are apparently VERY used to seeing Keita completely naked...

Value:
Just don't. As if the ending to the Inukami series didn't hurt enough, this is just adding insult to injury.

This "movie" is really just an extra episode of Inukami that takes place in an unspecified period of the timeline. If this is to be considered just another episode, it would rank up there as one of, if not the best, episode in the series, in the same ballpark as the first 2 episodes. It's just too bad that the TV series was brought down by its horrendously cheesy story and its religious adherence to harem cliche's. Thankfully, the movie doesn't focus much on trying to develop those characters, and opts for one of the more entertaining, but completely overlooked guys, the detective kamiya.

The movie's humor also feels oddly fresh, with a couple of anime reference jokes and the same creatively disturbing sexual humor found in the earlier episodes. It sheds the tired harem jokes where the male lead engages in womanizing before the female lead beats the living daylights out of him.

The TV series' only saving grace was the fact that it had its way of turning melodrama into something rather humorous most of the time. The climax showed no such restraint and went all out with the cheese. If you found that disappointing, this piece of all out humor will be an end note that puts Inukami back in your good graces.

124, female, bloodtype: AB, 3.55 (8), drill hairAn easy way to tell if a female character in Japanese media is of high social standing is to not look for a crown or an Ermine Cape, but to look at the front of her head. Specifically, look for two long, curled locks of hair, framing the face. If she has them, she either is high class or acts like it. Needless to say, this is pretty much mandatory for the Ojou. Some Elegant Gothic Lolitas also sport this hairstyle., fanno description set, hair ribbonHair ribbons are ribbons used both as hair decorations and as hair ties. Hair ribbons are often tied into bows. They may also be present as part of a hairband. In older anthropomorphic series, where the gender of characters was sometimes hard to tell at first glance, ribbon bows were used to indicate a female character., long hairLong hair is hair from (but not including) shoulder-length, up to (but not including) waist length hair. Sidelocks do NOT count as long hair., ringA ring is a circular ornament. Strictly speaking, a normal ring is worn around the finger, and the term "ring" alone normally refers to that type. Usages and symbolism for rings vary immensely, with different forms of rings meaning to display things ranging from profession or degree to espousal to the power to rule all other rings of power., skirtA skirt is a tube- or cone-shaped piece of clothing that hangs from the waist and covers the legs partially or fully. Skirts are often seen as garments for women, but exceptions exist. In anime, they`re almost always worn by women, generally as school uniform or workplace garments, and a man with one will likely be cross-dressing. Skirts that go below the knee are usually associated with strict rules and at times with winter, though even in winter anime schoolgirls in miniskirts can be found., twintailsTwintails are type of hairstyle where the hair is gathered into two "tails" on either side of the head. This tag also applies when a race is stronger than others (think the Sayajin), as long as said weaker races are also a part of the cast., short hairShort hair is hair from (but not including) bald, up to (but not including) shoulder-length hair.
