En macroéconomie, la demande globale est la demande totale de biens et services finaux dans l'économie à un moment donné et un niveau de prix. Il spécifie les montants des biens et des services qui seront achetés à tous les niveaux de prix possibles. C'est la demande pour le produit intérieur brut d'un pays. On l'appelle souvent la demande effective, bien que d'autres fois ce terme soit distingué. On cite souvent que la courbe de la demande globale est en pente descendante car, à des niveaux de prix plus bas, une plus grande quantité est demandée. Bien que cela soit correct au niveau micro-économique, unique, au niveau global, cela est incorrect. La courbe globale de la demande est en fait descendante en raison de trois effets distincts: l'effet de richesse de Pigou, l'effet de taux d'intérêt de Keynes et l'effet de change de Mundell-Fleming. En outre, plus le niveau de prix est élevé, moins il est exigé et donc il est en pente descendante. La courbe de la demande globale illustre la relation entre deux facteurs: la quantité de production demandée et le niveau de prix agrégé. La valeur de la masse monétaire est fixée. Il existe de nombreux facteurs qui peuvent déplacer la courbe AD. In macroeconomics, aggregate demand is the total demand for final goods and services in the economy at a given time and price level. It specifies the amounts of goods and services that will be purchased at all possible price levels. This is the demand for the gross domestic product of a country. It is often called effective demand, though at other times this term is distinguished. It is often cited that the aggregate demand curve is downward sloping because at lower price levels a greater quantity is demanded. While this is correct at the microeconomic, single good level, at the aggregate level this is incorrect. The aggregate demand curve is in fact downward sloping as a result of three distinct effects: Pigou's wealth effect, the Keynes' interest rate effect and the Mundell-Fleming exchange-rate effect. Additionally, the higher the price level is to be, the less demanded and thus it is downward sloping. The aggregate demand curve illustrates the relationship between two factors - the quantity of output that is demanded and the aggregated price level. The value of the money supply is fixed. There are many factors that can shift the AD curve.
