Calp est une ville côtière située dans la comarca de Marina Alta, dans la province d'Alicante, Communauté valencienne, en Espagne, près de la mer Méditerranée. Il a une superficie de 23,5 km² et une densité de population de 855,45 personnes / km². La ville est située à 67 km de la ville d'Alicante, située au pied du parc naturel de Penyal d'Ifac. L'économie de Calp repose principalement sur le tourisme et la pêche. De nombreux sites archéologiques ibériques, romains et arabes existent dans la ville, en raison de son emplacement stratégique sur le littoral. Calp is a coastal town located in the comarca of Marina Alta, in the province of Alicante, Valencian Community, Spain, by the Mediterranean Sea. It has an area of 23.5 km² and a population density of 855.45 persons/km². The town is located 67 km from the city of Alicante, lying at the foot of the Natural Park of Penyal d'Ifac. The economy of Calp is mainly based on tourism and fishing. Many Iberian, Roman and Arab archeological sites exist in the town, due to its strategic coastal location.
