Ocicat
L'Ocicat est une race tout-domestique de chat qui ressemble à un chat sauvage mais qui n'a pas d'ADN sauvage dans son groupe génétique. La race est inhabituelle car elle est repérée comme un chat sauvage mais a le tempérament d'un animal domestique. Il s'appelle pour ressembler à l'ocelot. La race a été établie à partir du stock siamois et abyssinien; Plus tard, les Shorthairs américains ont été ajoutés au mélange et ont donné à la race leur couleur argent, leur structure osseuse et leurs marques distinctes. The Ocicat is an all-domestic breed of cat which resembles a wild cat but has no wild DNA in its gene pool. The breed is unusual in that it is spotted like a wild cat but has the temperament of a domestic animal. It is named for its resemblance to the ocelot. The breed was established from Siamese and Abyssinian stock; later, American Shorthairs were added to the mix and gave the breed their silver color, bone structure and distinct markings.
