People's Deputy of Ukraine and leader of the European Solidarity party Petro Poroshenko has handed over a batch of equipment to nine units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including excavators, container repair workshops, mobile sawmills, ATVs, and a shipment of anti-drone nets.

"FPVs have become not only our primary weapon but also a daily threat to the troops. The simplest way to combat them is with anti-drone nets. A drone gets tangled, detonates early, or does not explode at all. This provides those critical seconds that decide everything. But nets are not eternal. They are torn by shrapnel, destroyed by explosions, and ripped by wind and weather. They need to be replaced after every shelling. That is why we are handing over 100 sets of nets, which will provide 100 additional chances to save a gun, a vehicle, and most importantly—lives," Poroshenko wrote on Facebook.

He also announced the transfer of fortification construction kits, including excavators and mobile sawmills, to four artillery brigades.

"We receive only the best feedback about our mobile workshops. As the military says, they are second to none in terms of content and equipment quality. Today we handed them over to three mechanized brigades, paratroopers, and an SOF (Special Operations Forces) center," the politician wrote.

The ATVs were provided to artillery units, which, according to Poroshenko, will be particularly relevant in the spring.
