Member of parliament, leader of the European Solidarity party Petro Poroshenko said that the Verkhovna Rada should soon adopt draft laws on the "Kachka-Kos Plan" to secure funding from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility program, the political force's website reports.

"This is not a list of laws. This is a test of trust that Ukraine must finally pass," Poroshenko said, emphasizing the need for reforms in the justice sector, anti-corruption institutions, and the judicial system.

According to him, in 2025, Ukraine missed out on EUR 2 billion in aid due to non-fulfillment of obligations, and in 2026 the risks are even greater - the country could lose at least EUR 4 billion. He also recalled the uncertainty surrounding the receipt of EUR 90 billion secured by frozen Russian assets.

"The date of Ukraine's accession to the European Union is not in Brussels, but in Kyiv, on Bankova and Hrushevskoho Streets. And today, unfortunately, the authorities are not bringing it closer, but pushing it away," Poroshenko noted.

He emphasized that most of the EU's demands concern the rule of law and the independence of the judiciary, and called on the parliament to adopt all the draft laws of the "Kachka-Kos Plan" without delay.
