Nemacanthus (from Greek: ฮฝฮญฮผฯ nรฉmล, 'to distribute' and Greek: แผฮบฮฑฮฝฮธฮฑ akantha, 'spine')[2] is an extinct genus of cartilaginous fish in the family Palaeospinacidae.
The species N. elegans is from the Triassic of Idaho, United States.[3]
