Up for proposed deletion. Bearian (talk) 02:37, 20 March 2026 (UTC)[]

👁 Notice

The article Church of the Truth has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced for 18 and 1/2 years. Tagged as Unreferenced for 8 and 1/2 years. I've asked the relevant Project twice to provide references. No other language has a reliably sourced article from which to translate. Fails the relevant notability guidelines. Lacks significant coverage.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion based on established criteria.

If the proposed deletion has already been carried out, you may request undeletion of the article at any time. Bearian (talk) 02:41, 20 March 2026 (UTC)[]

Old Catholic bishop in Austria sent joyful telegram to Adolf Hitler (1938)

[edit]

There is a discussion here about Bishop "Robert Tüchler's joyful telegram to Hitler." I posted that Bishop Tüchler sent the following telegram to Adolf Hitler welcoming him to Austria in 1938: "The Old Catholic Church of Old Austria welcomes the Savior of the Homeland with great joy." It is well-documented in scholarly publications. I think the point is relevant. --Melchior2006 (talk) 08:48, 27 March 2026 (UTC)[]

Disambiguation for churches

[edit]

Is there any guideline or previous discussion which informs the general habit of disambiguating churches using placenames in brackets if they are in the US (St. Mary Church (Greenwich, Connecticut)) and with commas elsewhere (St Mary's Church, Brecon}?

This would be relevant, or at least interesting, for a current discussion about disambiguating statues etc, at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Visual arts#Parenthetical vs. natural disambiguation for public sculptures. Is a church a place (thus included in WP:PLACEDAB, which allows either option)? Is a sculpture a place? etc.PamD 10:25, 19 April 2026 (UTC)[]

Proposal for a Hussism related work group

[edit]

Hi there, I would like to create a Hussism related work group for myself and anyone else interested in contributing, I have created an infobox for Hussism and Hussite articles which helps with organizing them. Many of these articles are stubs and need to be improved upon so that more people can be able to read about and learn about Hussism in the English language. Am I allowed to go ahead and create a work group? What is the process for that? Kachow03 (talk) 00:35, 23 April 2026 (UTC)[]

👁 Notice

The article Roger Morneau has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Tagged for Notability concerns for 14 years, and for source quality for almost 12 years, all without being addressed. No other language has a reliably sourced article from which to translate. Fails the relevant guidelines, in biographical articles.

Dear Mormon Man, Tell Me What You Would Do Essay

[edit]

I want to make a page for this essay about androcentrism in Christianity and more specifically Mormonism, but I'm not sure if theres enough notability I found maybe four 2nd sources not tied to the essay directly. Is this enough or can anybody find more sources? Goetia [She/He/They/Any] (talk) 23:58, 6 May 2026 (UTC)[]

Hi, the Society of Saint Pius X is in the news due to the recent controversies and possible soon-to-be excommunication of the Society. It has a number of issues raised by other editors that would benefit from attention by those with expertise in the topic area. — ♠ Ixtal ( T / C ) Non nobis solum 16:04, 31 May 2026 (UTC)[]

Request for neutral feedback on Draft:Don Gossett

[edit]

I have a disclosed conflict of interest regarding Draft:Don Gossett because I have assisted Don Gossett Ministries with digital archive restoration, website support, and ministry media preservation. The draft has been submitted through Articles for Creation, and I will not move it directly into article space myself.

I would appreciate neutral feedback from uninvolved editors on whether the draft appears to meet Wikipedia’s sourcing, notability, and neutrality expectations for a Christian biography. I am not requesting expedited review or approval, only constructive feedback so the draft can be improved if needed.

Thank you.

RobertWoeger (talk) 20:52, 5 June 2026 (UTC)[]

Thank you for the feedback and help. I have completed the main sourcing and cleanup work on Draft:Don Gossett and have noted on the draft talk page that I do not plan further substantive edits unless a reviewer requests changes or an obvious correction is needed. My conflict of interest is disclosed at Draft talk:Don Gossett, and the draft remains submitted through Articles for Creation for independent review. RobertWoeger (talk) 17:13, 6 June 2026 (UTC)[]
