The protesting teachers, who boycotted classes and staged a demonstration, demanded that the seniority of all teachers who have served in the department for around seven years be published.
At a meeting between the joint committee and state Health Minister Balbir Sidhu Thursday, the government agreed to link 20 per cent NPA with basic salary.
