According to the prosecution, the convict told the residents of Bhainsa and Sadar village of Sagar district that he has a business of garments in Cambodia, Vietnam and Dubai and induced them to invest in a factory.
“The nail samples of the victim were not collected at the first instance and when the same were collected after a few days by digging out her body… it must have lost much of its evidentiary value,” the court said.
