Oh Lawrence. Ohhhh Lawrence.. I hate to agree with him, but he is very handsome. Insufferable and a brat, but handsome. At least he's also self aware enough to realize he is an absolute boyfailure.
He makes me want to shake him around like a maraca. Not exactly cuteness aggression, more like... Cuteness exasperation? Every word he speaks makes me want to sigh and facepalm very hard.
Lawrence, my beloved. The closet is made of glass and everybody can tell (except for him, apparently.) The way he fumbles through every interaction with Vale... Oh dear. He's down horrendous. Lawrence. Please... The only person making these thoughts difficult for you is you!!!
Also just wanted to say that Vale really gave me aroace vibes whilst playing through this. I'm not sure if that was intentional or not, but I mean it as the highest form of compliment when I say that he is super relatable to me as an aroace-spec and I love him for that.

Wow! I honestly didn't expect that ending, though I probably should've. I'm so used to the "I can fix them" ending where the MC somehow DOES fix their love interest despite everything that is clearly wrong with them. This ending was a breath of fresh air for me. Sure, Clyde did improve in some ways, but he also didn't do a complete 180 on the life he was already living, and I really liked that.
I also really love that the MC's actions are treated as their own as well, rather than something that Clyde somehow made them do. Hank being unable to forgive us for accidentally causing his mom trouble, Rebecca not buying into our excuses about not meaning to hurt other people, even Bonnie being hesitant to let us stay at her place because of how badly we fucked up. Simultaneously, it was nice to have Oliver in our corner to just relax with after everything went down.. but I guess he of all people would understand how volatile being around Clyde can be.
Clyde as a character is also very relatable to me, which is why I think he was my first choice to romance. I get that feeling of just wanting to keep being in the spotlight, to keep running faster and faster towards danger even though you know you'll end up seriously hurt or worse. It's hard to stop when you don't know any other way to be, and Clyde is a perfect example of that. He is relatable, but also worse than I have ever been. Somehow, that terrifies and reassures me in equal measure.
In my head MC and Clyde absolutely do go back to BC and apologize to everybody, especially Hank's family and Reb. And we give Oliver a big big squeeze because he is my absolute favorite ever. Everybody should have a friend like Oliver <3

THERE IS A POLYAMOROUS ROUTE PLANNED FOR THE GAME. Neko has confirmed this several times on his tumblr. It is stated right here on this page underneath the "what is planned?" section.
As far as I know, the exact dynamic of the poly hasn't been revealed yet, but it is absolutely possible that Harlequin and Peirrot end up in love/together with each other in the poly route, not just with the MC. To reiterate, the exact dynamic of the poly hasn't been confirmed (from what I remember), but there IS a poly route planned.
Please stop harassing people who ship Pierrot x Harlequin.

I will say that there are a lot of errors in the new chapter in the english translation (way too many for me to list here </3) but other than that, it is great!!! There are just a lot of typos and a few lines of text being repeated, and some words having double letters too. The chapter itself is very fun though. Lots of sweet interactions with our new employees :3

Oh my god i saw this update and I almost threw up from surprise. You do not know how much this work meant to me, it was one of the first IF's that I had read after finding out what IF's even were. I truly cannot believe you decided to come back T^T I am so happy!!
Just a reminder for everyone + info for any newcomers that may be curious about the game~
1. There is a poly romance planned between MC, Pierrot, and Harlequin. Neko has confirmed this on his tumblr. The poly romance (afaik) MIGHT involve Pierrot and Harlequin being in love with each other as well, not just them being in love with the MC. If you do not want a poly romance, then do not go on the poly route. Neko already received a lot of harassment for this, he doesn't deserve to go through that again.
2. Neko is not comfortable with minors (under 18) interacting with TFC fanbase. Nobody can really stop you from doing what you want, but I just need to say that if you are under 18 and interacting with TFC, you are disrespecting the creators boundaries. Do with this information what you will.
3. TFC has an official tumblr! freakcircusofhorrors is the username. There, you will find Q&A's, asks for the characters, plus other information about the game! It is ran by friends of Neko <3 it is all very fun so I encourage you to go check it out!
4. Neko is the only person working on this game. He works hard and does his best, so please be patient with him! The updates will take time, but we will get the full game eventually. Let's just keep giving him the encouragement he deserves so that he can keep going!!
For those who are unaware, Neko (the game creator) was receiving a lot of harassment and rude comments due to the fact that there is a poly route planned for the game (something that is confirmed on his tumblr, and that he has mentioned several times) so he was on a break for a while.
He is back now, and according to his tumblr, the freak circus will be getting a side blog so that all of the official information on the game will be gathered up in one place! It is NOT up yet, so we just have to be patient until then.
I would also like to remind everyone that Neko is the creator of this game. It is HIS GAME. He gets to decide what is and isn't included in the game, full stop. None of us are entitled to abusing him just because there are inclusive and non traditional romance options in his game. If you do not want a poly romance, then do not go for the poly route. It is truly that simple.
I really hope that this serves as a wake up call to all the people who were harassing Neko, as well as all the people who were bullying others about shipping Pierrot and Harlequin. Please be kind to one another; there is far too much hatred in the world, so spread love to each other instead.
Watched a playthrough of this and I intend to play it myself when I can, but I would just like to say that the story itself really resonated with me. It reminded me of an experience that I had forgotten about, involving the disappearance of a dear friend I had when I was younger. 100/10. The amount of work you guys managed to get done within a week is insane to me, and the game is absolutely amazing considering the time constraints!
Bought the game for Wes, stayed for Wes (though Nikolaos did grow on me lol. I love pathetic obsessive men). I will say that I expected something a bit more different than what I got, which did leave me feeling a bit disappointed; that's my own fault however, and I still rate the game 5 stars because it is creative, silly, and even sometimes intense in the right moments. Also Wes is there and he is beautiful (my Nightwing lookin' beloved) <3
If you're a fan of cheesy vintage superhero comics as well as yanderes, you'll love this VN. The MC is terrible at hiding that they are a hero which peeved me at first, but I do think that's probably intentional. It sort of reminds me of how nobody realizes that Clark Kent is Superman y'know?
At the very least I think that if you're curious about this game, you should absolutely try it out! The base game is free after all so why not??

I managed to play through the update finally (with X first, I've got a weak spot for them I fear) and I must say... The ending of chapter 14 left me speechless. There is a distinct sense of dread I'm feeling that I really can't describe in full, and I can only assume it will increase as we progress deeper into the mountains. Great work once again <3
