Request for Achievement Code / Badge Issuance – Microsoft Artificial Intelligence Industry Leader Certification

Irwan Prabowo 0 Reputation points

Dear Microsoft Credentials Support Team,

I am requesting assistance regarding the achievement code and badge issuance for the Microsoft Learn path:

Discover AI for leaders in sustainability https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/paths/discover-microsoft-ai-leaders-sustainability/

I have completed all 5 modules in the learning path using my Microsoft Learn account:

Microsoft Learn account email: [******@yahoo.com] Full name: Irwan Prabowo

Completed modules:

  1. Leverage AI tools and resources for your business
  2. Create business value with AI
  3. Embrace responsible AI principles and practices
  4. Scale AI in your organization
  5. Define a Microsoft AI strategy to create business value in sustainability

On the Microsoft Learn path page, I can see the “Redeem your code” section, but I do not have an achievement code. Could you please advise how I can obtain the correct achievement code for this completed learning path, or confirm whether this path is eligible for the related Credly badge?

For reference, the Credly badge I am referring to is:

Microsoft Artificial Intelligence Industry Leader Certification Issued by Microsoft AI & Sustainability Program https://www.credly.com/org/microsoft-ai-sustainability-program/badge/microsoft-artificial-intelligence-industry-leader-certification

I have attached screenshots showing that all 5 module assessments have been completed/passed, as well as the Microsoft Learn page showing the “Redeem your code” section.

Could you please help confirm the next step, the correct issuing process, and whether Microsoft can provide the achievement code or route this request to the appropriate Microsoft AI & Sustainability Program team?

Thank you for your support.

Best regards, Irwan Prabowo

The achievement code for a learning path or course cannot be generated by learners. Achievement codes are only issued for eligible instructor-led trainings, and they must be created and provided by the training organizer or instructor.

    Key points from current guidance:

    1. Achievement codes are created only by authorized training partners or class administrators using the URL Creation Tool in the Title Plan, after they enroll in the achievement code request program.
    2. Learners do not receive a code automatically by completing a self-paced Microsoft Learn learning path.
    3. Only achievement codes created through this official process count toward program KPIs and can be redeemed on Microsoft Learn.
    4. For self-paced Microsoft Learn content, completion is recognized with badges and trophies in the Achievements section of the Microsoft Learn profile, not with an achievement code or course-completion certificate.

Based on this, completing the “Discover Microsoft AI for leaders in sustainability” self-paced learning path alone does not entitle a learner to an achievement code. An achievement code would only be available if the content was delivered as an eligible instructor-led class by a Microsoft Training Services Partner or similar provider, and that organizer would be responsible for issuing the code.

    Next steps:

    1. If this learning path was taken as part of an official instructor-led offering, contact the instructor or training provider and request the achievement code for the class.
    2. If it was completed purely as self-paced learning on Microsoft Learn, there is no Microsoft channel to request or generate an achievement code; in that case, rely on the badges/trophies shown under the Achievements section of the Microsoft Learn profile.
    3. For any issues with an instructor-provided code (for example, “Code has reached its maximum” or “Achievement code not found”), the training provider must generate a new code using the URL Creation Tool.

For questions about achievement code creation and usage, training organizers should use the resources and guidance in the Training Services Partner documentation.
