Minecraft version json hashes

I was trying to educate myself to make a version "report", so I could help when a version/snapshot comes out.
I found the hashes in the source code, but the json hashes seem to be different now. I remember it being the same as in version_manifest(_v2).json, but now it isn't.
Eg: jsonhash 25w34b:
- according to the wiki: 79fa05a66c725be5f5c16b320bdc3cde0918bdb7
- according to version_manifest(_v2).json: fbb844bf0cac68e6f310d1138ab10700505bf4f0
Does it need to be changed, or is it fine how it is now?
And by the way, does a tutorial exist for the correct way to write it into the wiki?

- The jsons may change when assets are updated (new languages, sounds etc), I think. Not sure what a tutorial would be needed for. Nixinova T ⁄ C 06:31, 12 November 2025 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, my English wasn't as good back then as it is now. I meant a tutorial for the page itself, to know what goes where and stuff like that. And as for the hashes, they still work. I would maybe change the hashes when updated, but it doesn't bring that big of a problem. -- Nomis12 (Talk) 06:47, 12 November 2025 (UTC)
- So like a description of what this information is and what the hashes are for? I think information should only just be put in Template:Infobox version as required. Nixinova T ⁄ C 06:50, 12 November 2025 (UTC)
- I actually meant the full page. For example: 25w46a. It would be nice to know how to put it together. -- Nomis12 (Talk) 13:06, 12 November 2025 (UTC)
- Well it's just infobox parameters, plus the use of
{{dl}} for any manual instances. Nixinova T ⁄ C 07:40, 13 November 2025 (UTC)
