- This is just the system serif font. It differs system by system and browser by browser, and therefore I do not know which specific font you are talking about. In addition, you have not specified what exactly are you suggesting where the font will be used. If you mean that the sans-serif font in the body text, then I 👁 Image
strongly oppose this change. It has been proven by studies that sans-serif fonts are more readable for people who suffer from dyslexia or poor vision, and people who use low-resolution screens, although for the rest the difference is statistically insignificant. Most of the web is using sans-serif font, and the wiki has been using sans-serif font since day one. Strong oppose. Serif-fonts are more suitable to print, and sans-serif for monitors. It reads much better that way. That's just how they are designed, it has to do something with dpi or something but I wouldn't know about that. Strong oppose - Serif font looks like my grand - grand - grandfather used it to write a document in a black screen with green text on IBM PC. The normal font in Minecraft Wiki is simple and easy on the eye. --👁 Image

Oppose added a serif font by default. However you can add body{font-family:serif;} to your common.css to change the wiki font just for yourself. -- 👁 Image

Oppose I don't believe "serif" is actually used somewhere (except as a default). I would consider other fonts, but serif is definitely not the one --TreeIsLife (talk) 18:28, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
