The scatter mines is an artifact that can be found within the Howling Peaks DLC of Minecraft Dungeons.
Listed difficulties are considered to be the minimum difficulty the item is obtainable on unless stated otherwise.
The scatter mines can be used by the hero to place three proximity mines onto the ground, which then explode when a mob is within range. They appear and behave very similarly to the mines created by redstone golems. Mines automatically explode after ten seconds. They do not deal damage to the hero or allies (although they can still trigger them). The mines are places in the middle of a block in front of you and on your sides.
