I've firstly started this discussion on the main page talk, but I actually want to make it more specific and put it here, because it's mainly beneficial for the Story Mode wiki. For all of the previous points - look at the page linked before. Anyway, I'll still provide here some suggestions for the "Related communitied":

1. r/MinecraftStoryMode
2. Telltale's legacy website for the game (could be with an archived version to the right)
3. Official discontinuation notice

Actually, the thought to add those links originally occurred in my head when I was translating this main page section to Ukrainian, and well yeah, I added exactly those things but they were deleted because of layouting.

I've noticed that this talk page isn't getting much traction unfortunately, so can you spread the word about this discussion a bit? Maybe on the Discord, or to other admins. No pressure though. 👁 Image

I dont know if this is possible, but can somebody add the files of MCSM in the wiki?

It would be kind of risky (Copyright, Malware, etc) but it would be cool.

If there are concers of users putting malware in the files, one possible solution would be to: make the files be submitted to a moderator, who verifies them before publishing, and adding in a warning before the users downloads the files. Kakaunet (talk) 16:43, 6 September 2025 (UTC)

I feel like pages should mention when and how a thing was used in each episode it appeared like how the story mode wiki does

It's harder to verify if something appears in an episode when its not mentioned where in the episode its seen 👁 Image

That's how it always has been done in many pages. If you see any page that doesn't do that, feel free to fix them or mention it in their talk pages. 👁 Image

I don't think I've seen that on really any pages, I'm guessing you are talking about the history section? That's really only on the important things as of now... 👁 Image

Yes I am referring to the history sections. That section is supposed to be in all item pages.

I am not sure what you are going for here. Are you proposing because history sections currently do not do that? I'm pretty sure that one of the main reasons that "how a thing was used" wasn't mentioned is because most history sections are empty. 👁 Image

I think a good example demonstrating this as said by @QwertyLilley is probably the Amulet. Its history page is (still being) developed to show how that item has been used in the game.

Wiki building takes time but it's all worth it with volunteers like you :) 👁 Image
