Talk:Badlands

Are there still red sandstone blocks available in the badlands? I have not encountered any. This may have changed due to the 1.14 update. I am playing on the java version. If my information is correct we need to edit the wikipage. 98.65.234.40 20:23, 2 May 2019 (UTC)

I've been searching around a Desert and Savanna for a Badlands biome, but my searches have proved fruitless so far. Any pointers? --Lapsem (talk) 23:01, 18 July 2020 (UTC)

I have uploaded new pictures. Maybe they fit better? They look beautiful and there is nothing superfluous.

I noticed that on the bedrock edition spawning section that armadillos have a spawn rate of 0 and a herd size of 0, so basically saying that they can't spawn. Is that a mistake? If so what might the correct numbers be? I don't really know exactly how the spawn tables work, so I could be wrong. Kit Snicket (talk) 22:57, 9 February 2024 (UTC)

Updated the table to the proper weight. The weight and herd size can be found in the spawn rule file under the `minecraft:weight` and `minecraft:herd` keys respectively. - SmokeyStack (talk) 01:40, 10 February 2024 (UTC)

Wooded Badlands doesn't have a spawn table, stating that it is the same as the normal badlands spawn table. But with the Armoured Paws, Striped Wolf now spawn exclusively to Wooded Balnds, so I think that needs to be added. I'm not fully sure how spawn tables work and I'm new so my editing isn't that good, so I don't think I'd be able to add that myself TitanianPerson (talk) 17:12, 24 April 2024 (UTC)

I was asked to move this discussion to the talk page of this article. I think that we should add percentages to the music tables in each biome for ease of understanding. While the weights in the table are informative, it can still be hard to find the actual chance to play, especially (like in this biome) if it has a lot of tracks.
