Server update released (no base game update)

Latest comment: 24 April4 comments3 people in discussion

bedrock-server-1.26.14.1.zip is available @ the server download page

I was wondering what to do in this situation.

I started the talk page here because it seems that the server pages redirect to the base game page of that version.

Rather than create the wiki pages for a version that doesnt exist or have the wiki page for the server version that has no links to it, I'd like to ask for some advice here :]

I'd suggest that the Bedrock Edition 26.14 article be created beforehand, and then this redirect can be created, as it seems to be the most logical option. No idea if it's common for them to release the server update before the actual release. - RedX (talk) 19:02, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
Sounds good. Highlandword9 (talk) 19:02, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
Sometimes Mojang just increases the version number for a BDS update even if they won't release a corresponding base game update. There are numerous other examples of them doing this; I can find them if you so desire. User:Iactuallycantdothat has re-created this page as a redirect.
The files' last-updated time is April 10 at around 7:30 AM UTC, which means it's been two weeks since the BDS release without a base game release, so I (and apparently User:Iactuallycantdothat) think it's fair to assume it's a standalone BDS update for 26.13.
