Look, I know this isn't directly within the components section, but there's nowhere else to talk about it. I think it might be interesting to add information about traits and states to provide information for readers. If this page isn't suitable, perhaps another page would be good. What do you think? - Block traits could get its own page, but I'm not sure about block states. States already have a page, but it currently only exists as a list of vanilla states, and not those from Bedrock Edition. The question is whether or not we are doing a page on block definitions. There it could just be done as sections on defining states and using traits. I'm not sure which is better though. - Well, the trait is basically just a method for you to activate vanilla states, while states is a place for you to create custom states. Joaololpvp (talk) 23:15, 7 January 2026 (UTC)
- If there were a page like that, it would be good to explain the categories "states" and "traits," along with the menu_category. Joaololpvp (talk) 23:26, 7 January 2026 (UTC)
- Yeah, and also
use_beta_features as well. It would also make it clearer where components go (and then the description would have a link to this page). EmeraldBuilder (talk) 23:33, 7 January 2026 (UTC)
