This one will be the one for watching Twitch!

The twitchcon website shows the right side up version so it seems very likely that THAT one is going to be the one for actually attending twitchcon.

- So both this cape and the Crafter Cape are different things? @RetroGamer81 unless I'm misinterpreting, could you explain why that is? --RedX (talk) 00:38, 24 April 2026 (UTC)
- Yup they’re both different capes. I think the reason there’s two capes is probably because mojang doesn’t want people complaining about the fact you have to go to twitchcon to get a cape, so they added a second cape for people who (like me) can’t make it. The Microsoft Store named it the Builder Cape when adding a image of it 👁 Image
Though this can wait until the name is actually confirmed publicly. 👁 Image

- Where in the Microsoft Store did they add it? We should probably move it since "Inverted Crafter Cape" is completely arbitrary, but "Builder Cape" would be the closest to an official name we have at the moment. How accurate do Microsoft Store names tend to be? TheCaptainYaya (talk) 02:40, 19 May 2026 (UTC)
- Builder Cape | There has only been 1 occurrence of the store name being false/unconfirmed which is for the Sapphire Cape but prior to that the names are usually temp names before being updated to the real ones, as prior to it being referred to as the Builder Cape it was simply named TwitchCon 2026 Cape 2 👁 Image

- I see. Probably best to move it then. TheCaptainYaya (talk) 02:48, 19 May 2026 (UTC)
- I moved the article. Do we know if it was revealed on the 18th or 19th UTC? Since I see you uploaded the image around right when the day started. TheCaptainYaya (talk) 03:46, 19 May 2026 (UTC)

I know how we’ll get the cape.

We’ll have to submit a build on gleam using an upcoming marketplace map that’s similar to the 15th anniversary park build thing. Gleam is the same website that we used to submit fan art for a character creator item. The winning build will appear in a Minecraft movie 2. And it has to fit into one of 4 biomes. https://gleam.io/D0Uqx/minecraft-movie-build-challenge someone leaked it 👁 Image

This cape is bedrock only, as stated on Minecraft.net article about builder competition: "To earn your cape to use in-game in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition"
Also after redeeming it only showed in Bedrock for me and there is no sign of it in MC Launcher for Java Ed. Syhmac (talk) 21:37, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
- Nevermind. It just popped in my launcher minute after I made a change. Change reverted Syhmac (talk) 21:46, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
Cape restock needs source
[edit source]Latest comment: 9 June1 comment1 person in discussion
In the history section it says that on June 3 twitch restocked the codes but that claim has no listed source and people are still having issues getting it with twitch support saying that they’re out of codes and Will be unable to restock them. Could anyone provide a source for that or remove it if it is false. It seems to be true that a restock has happened as I did eventually get my code when trying to get it after the claimed restock date but I can’t find any citeable source for it. Ugglis2 (talk) 06:10, 9 June 2026 (UTC)
Has it been verified that the extension to June 22 applies to earning the drop or just to claiming a key from the drop on Twitch's side? I never attempted the drop before today, and I don't see it listed on https://www.twitch.tv/drops/campaigns. I also tried a few affiliate streams with the DropsEnabled tag and didn't see any drops progress or unlock anything.
There's a chance that I'm just being a lil stupid but from my side it looks like the campaign is over for anyone who didn't start between May 30 and June 14. This matches the timeline in the History section but conflicts with the Distribution section claiming that the drop works until June 22.
